30 Years of Research on Probiotics

In the course of over 30 years of research on probiotics, Professor Tsai has discovered that what is lacking in society is not probiotic products but professional healthcare brands that can provide scientific research, high-quality products, and health education to the public.

Therefore, he adheres to the idea of “science serving people” and hopes to utilize scientific evidence to genuinely address people’s everyday issues, enabling a larger number of individuals to benefit from functional probiotics.

Based on Professor Tsai’s extensive professional knowledge and experience, and in collaboration with R&D teams from Taiwan and Japan, as well as founding KSK Biotech, we have diligently developed new strains such as PS128™, PS23™, K21™, and other specialized strains.

We have developed a novel range of probiotics that offer innovative solutions for both physical and mental distress. From the stability, safety, isolation and purification, identification, strain screening, and efficacy evaluation, all aspects of the strains have been independently accomplished by our dedicated R&D team.

With the esteemed authority in the field of probiotics in Asia, Professor Tsai Ying-Chieh serves as the R&D leadership consultant. Professor Tsai Ying-Chieh holds the distinction of being the first opinion leader in Taiwan to advocate for the importance of digestive tract health. As the founder of the Taiwan Association for Lactic Acid Bacteria and the Asian Federation of Societies for Lactic Acid Bacteria, Professor Tsai has been actively engaged in the probiotics industry for an extensive period.
